I know the VH1 show was annoying. They actually did a pretty good job on the Transformers compared to other items they reviewed. They only made one penis joke in the whole review. They made about 20 to during their review of the Erector Set. Usually their reviews of a toy came down to 3rd rate celebrities making penis jokes about a toy, saying "bitch" or if the toy required throught, they said it was impossible for a kid to use - well, maybe it was for THEM as a kid - the morons. Still it's Transformers recognition on a national network in the year before the movie. Good news I guess.
I think the Beast Machines episode with Rattrap working for the Vehicons was a great episode for Megatron because he showed he was not the same Megatron from the Beast Wars. He had grown from a power-hungry sadist to a power hungry savior of Cybertron. He seemed to honestly think he was helping make the hero of the show, helping rid Cybertron of it's imperfection. As such he held a higher moral ground than he did as a ousted Predacon General looking to gain an army.
